Piper's Little Surgery
Piper had to have her upper frenulum clipped so she could "smile big". Because she is young the had to put her under to do it. The surgery took about 15 mins, she was away from us for 30 mins. She was a champ, woke up beautifully and can now give us a big happy grin.
Here she is, all silly after her procedure.

Daddy comes Home!
After a few months away we were eager to have Daddy back - the kids watched the stairs at John Wayne Airport patiently.
And after a little while (seemed like forever) they saw Daddy!
We're so glad he's home, safe & happy.

Aquarium on Wheels
The Aquarium of the Pacific on Wheels came to James' school. The kids have both been the the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach but were excited nonetheless to be able to touch the sea creatures.
Piper was especially eager to touch them. She was a very good about using two fingers and touching softly.
James was happy that he was brave enough to touch a Shark!
Jog-a-Thon
Troubadours Car Wash
Nathan has a Car Wash fundraiser for Troubadours. James was so excited that the big kids let him was cars with them.

Beach Days
The weather has been hot & cold (literally). We're lucky enough to live in Huntington Beach and have access to gorgeous beaches on beautiful days.
Thursday we went the "Mother's Beach" at the Harbor. There are no waves and it is a small not crowed beach where we can enjoy our little blow up boat.
James and Piper also love that they can run and play the "whole length" of the beach and have a little freedom.
On Friday we were blessed with another beautiful beach day so we went to Huntington State Beach.
There the kiddos enjoyed the surf and sand.
On days like these I remind myself…this is what we pay for.
San Diego Zoo
We took a little trip down to San Diego to spend the night at Uncle Aaron's and then go to the san Diego Zoo. They got very excited to see where to go on the map.
James loves GiraffesWe went on the "Flying Train" as James calls it. As you can see he loved it.
So did Piper
We had a great day enjoying each other and the animals and just being silly.
We can't wait to go back.
