Steve reported to the Army for Active Duty on Sunday, February 6th.
The night before we had a little going away party attended by family and neighborhood friend...
The next day we (Amanda, James & Piper) went to see Steve swear-in. It was a long day full of waiting and a bit of impatience from the kiddos but over all they were phenomenal. We left our house at 08:00 and had breakfast in L.A - then went to the processing station and waited for a little less than 2 hours. We found out it would be a while until he was ready to be sworn in so we left and drove to Ikea for lunch then back to the processing center. We waited for about one hour and then we saw this...
We waited just a little longer and then we got to stand right in front of him and watch as he swore to defend the United States of America as a Solider in the U.S Army.
Then we got to take a few pictures...
